Cinder is a gorgeous and promising young lady. She's a bit of a nervous Nelly like her dam, but is just a lovebug, too. She freshened for the first time with a beautiful singleton right smack in the middle of Thanksgiving break. Because of our busy schedule at the time, we left her baby with her a few days. The result - a one sided udder. Dangit. However, this little doe is milking 2 lbs a day out of ONE HALF. Imagine what she might do on her 2nd freshening! Cinder's second freshening udder is just as we hoped - capacious, well attached with excellent division of the halves. Her teats are a little to the outside when viewed from the rear (this is sometimes the case with Flame offspring). She's very easy to hand milk with butter soft texture and wide open orifices (another Flame stamp). |
