Vera is a really petite doe who has freshened with what may well be the nicest udder of any of Black Velvet's daughters.

While she clearly doesn't enjoy having her photo taken - so you can't tell - Vera is a well put together little doe.  She has tremendous body capacity for her size, a long dairy neck and strong topline.  She stands on short, upright pasterns.  Her rump is lovely with good width from thurl to thurl and length from hip to pins.

Vera adopted a kid for us who wouldn't take a bottle, so until that kid weans I won't have any udder photos.  Her udder is quite nice with nearly perfect teat placement, a strong, well defined medial and smooth pocketless fore.

I look forward to seeing what she can do as a second freshener.
